Hapag Lloyd, Brazil – Dangerous Goods

As informed on March 29, 2016 the Brazilian authorities decided to apply stringent measures for the handling of dangerous goods in Brazilian ports (ANTAQ Res. 2239 dated of 15/09/2011).

We would like to remind you that in order to comply with Brazilian legislation, with effect from April 10, 2016, it will be necessary that shippers provide us the below listed documents for dangerous goods (IMO) in Portuguese version, for cargoes destined to Brazil:

MDGF (Multimodal Dangerous Good Form) – Anexo VII
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) – Anexo VIII / Ficha de Emergência
For both documents (MDGF and MSDS) the content you provide will remain the same as today but it needs to be populated in the attached forms.

Regarding FROB cargoes, MSDS in English version is acceptable.
